We teach and help students for their interest in Art.
We do not give/issue any kind of certificate to be recognized by any establishments/institutions. Those students need lessons on ART for their college, personal interests, or as a career , for their livelihood, or for any kind of benefit they may have can join our professional courses. Eminent teachers will guide students. We do not provide Jobs nor sell Art objects.


R A W Foundation is Non-profit organisation.
Residential and non-residential art course: Fine Art & Applied Art (Commercial Art with Computer Applications) .
1)
Fine Art: History of Indian Art, Oriental Art, And Western Art.
Painting class
( Water colour, Oil colour, Acrylic colour , Tempera, Mixed media, Gouache etc. application and practical work),
Creativity and Art exhibition.

Duration of Art course :

Beginners Level ( art history and practice of out door study), Intermediate Level ( art application, technical sides and digital, overall concept), And Professional Level (perception of creativity, grooming into a professional ).
Courses are optional. Each level consists of 12 months, 4 days of a week; 4 hours class a day (and 3 hours a day for non residential students). Time schedule: For residential students 7A.M. to 11 A.M. (And non- residential 7A.M. to 10 A.M.).

2) Applied Arts : Drawing, basics of commercial arts and application, Computer
application
, outdoor study

Duration: Two years. 4 days of a week; 4 hours class a day (and 3 hours a day for non residential students). Time schedule: For residential students 6P.M. to 10 P.M. ( and for non residentials 6P.M. to 9 P.M.)
Eligibility: Age minimum 18 years old; Academic background should be minimum viii (eight) standard, Indian citizen, non- criminal record certificate from local institution and an assurance of complying fair law and order.

Any student, (male, female, employed, unemployed) those who cherish a dream to become an artist, but have no chances because of a family pressure / no institution or teacher were available/ because of engagement of different type of jobs / loves arts / because enough time to be killed / want to become a professional artist / because college is not imparting a satisfactory artistic knowledge / because want to do something special …..a contemporary artist…

Weekly ( once in a week) Art class for junior and senior students:
Only fine arts (application and art history) junior students (below 18 years, and senior students 18 and up) Duration of class is 3 hours .
Tution fee:

Rs500/ per month for the students want to join classes 4 days a week, Rs.6000/ yearly payable. ( students can pay in 3 installments ).
Weekly class for senior students (18 years and up) Rs.200/ ; for junior students ( 17 years and below) Rs. 100/ ( Four months tution fees advance payable)

Residential students have to pay extra Rs.2000/ for their lodging and meal.
All plans/ projects are subject to change to facilitate better accommodation and service.

In colaboration with The P E N (West Bengal) ,RAW Foundation is holding an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Albert Ashok and His Students at Birla Academy of Arts & Cultures , 108 Southern Avenue , Kolkata - 29 from 20 th may to 25 th May 08 , Time 3 pm to 8 pm.
