Rainbow Artists and Writers Foundation (RAW Foundation) has organised its 18th show at Birla Academy of Art and Culture.108,Southern Avenue. Kolkata - 700029. from 15th march to 20th March 2016. from 3pm to 8pm daily was open for public. on 17th we had coducted a poetry reading, music and discussion on art and literature.

We invited about 250 artists who joins international exhibition among different states of India. And we got 23 participant and 9 invited artists, in total 32 painters. we displayed their works. Media had news coverage of the event.
১৫ মার্চ ২০১৬, মঙ্গলবার, বিড়লা আকাদেমির (লেককালী বাড়ীর পাশে) সাউদার্ণ এভিন্যু, দোতালায় মাননীয় ও বিশিষ্ট শিল্পী লেখক প্রমুখদের উপস্থিতিতে সন্ধ্যা ৬টায় আমাদের বার্ষিক চিত্রকলা প্রদর্শনীর সূচনা। যোগ দিয়েছেন ভিন্ন রাজ্যের শিল্পী সহ এ রাজ্যের নবীন প্রবীন শিল্পীগন। আয়োজন র ফাউন্ডেশন। প্রদর্শনী ১৫ মার্চ থেকে ২০ মার্চ সময় বিকেল  প্রতিদিন বেলা ৩টে থেকে ৮টা অব্দি

We had massive advertising campaign for this show. we invited online ( through emails, pdf file  Facebook and our Blog) about 2000 people and we published the brochure about 1000  hard copies, and distributed through our members and artist friends.
I dont think such initiative any organisation takes to promote art and literature.

This is our printed hard copy 8 pages brochure that we distributed as free copy.it includes the name , address, contact of every participants. This is the way we introduce our artists writer to a mass at large. and publish before public.

 The inauguration ceremony: The prominent Artists, writers and other dignitaries of the megacity Kolkata joins us to encourage and celebrate art and literature.

 and on 17th a cultural event:
কবি ও শিল্পী বন্ধুদের আমন্ত্রণ ছিল, কবিতা পাঠ ও গানের জন্য। ১৭ মার্চ, বিড়লা আকাদেমির তিনতলায়, সমকালীন পেইন্টিং নিয়ে এক আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করছি্লাম।ছিল সাহিত্য পাঠ ও গান। সক্রিয় সকল লেখক ও শিল্পীদের সাহিত্য ও শিল্প সংক্রান্ত ইতিবাচক ও নেতিবাচক চর্চার সকল অভিজ্ঞতা নিয়ে কথা বলেছিলেন। বিড়লা আকাদেমির (লেককালী বাড়ীর পাশে) সাউদার্ণ এভিন্যু, তিনতলায়
উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট শিল্পীরা ও কলাসমালোচকগণ। সময় বিকেল ৪টে থেকে। আয়োজন র ফাউন্ডেশন।

Debabrata Chakrabarti
is an artist and writer, Human Rights activist and cultural activist he has published about 100 books on Drawing and painting including 8 books of poetry.  He is also involved with a few world org. mainly Human Rights org. Like PEN International and Amnesty International. In 2008, ArtVenture, a philanthropic world organization in association with ARTICLE 19, based in London and Singapore had featured him as human Rights artist in their global media.He was featured in many foreign media and in Journals from different states. He is an editor of more than 2 English annual  literary Journal,' PEN West Bengal Review' , 'The PEN' and 'Imagination'. He is awarded and conferred 'Satya Shiva Sundar' , a highest honour by The district Council of Culture, Kalahandi, and Lalit kala Academy, Odisha, India, in 2010.
